In this work we present insights into students' conceptions of AI. For this purpose already conducted research in the field is analysed and initial findings are presented. According to these, students associate AI particularly with autonomously acting systems, which are characterised primarily by human characteristics or behaviour. Finally avenues for further research are identified.
