Orientation and finding ways in buildings are particular challenges for people with disabilities. To cope with these obstacles, open accessible indoor maps enriched with accessibility information are required. To generate these is both a time-consuming and knowledge-intensive task 6 One possible solution is the use of volunteers who collect freely accessible map data. To support so-called mappers in this process, appropriate user-centered applications are needed, that guide and motivate those who collect them in the acquisition. Therefore, we present the results and their conclusions from a study carried out in the German-speaking area, which was primarily aimed at active mappers from the OpenStreetMap community.
